It is designed to protect your RP C4 Prep Column from particulate and contaminants that will adsorb to it. Packed in a Stainless Steel Tube, it has SS Frits.

With a 10 µm Particle and 300A Pore Size, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures. Used for purification of proteins, peptides, enzymes and other large, hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase preparative HPLC, this Butyl Phase is excellent for bio molecules.
